Victoria Drob is a psychotherapist and the owner of Frame of Mind Mental Health, a New Jersey private practice. For nearly two decades, across private practice, hospital, and intensive outpatient settings, she has worked with individuals, couples, and families on trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and the relationships that hold people together. Clients rarely drop out of her care, and that is the through line of her work: people open up where they feel heard, and they see it through.
Organizations bring that same approach into the workplace through her Mental Wealth seminars, covering burnout prevention, psychological safety, manager training, and the immigrant and multicultural experience at work. The last is a subject she has studied directly: her research on why people avoid seeking mental health care was published in the peer-reviewed journal The Counseling Psychologist, and she co-edited Stateless, a documentary on the migration of Soviet Jews accepted to seven film festivals. Her recent corporate clients have booked her back for repeat sessions.
Victoria’s approach.
Do not underestimate the mind-body connection. A mind distraught is a body at risk. Psychological unease affects all aspects of our lives, as well as the lives of those nearest to us.
Though our predicaments can feel hopeless, the development of healthy and effective coping strategies to deal with a multitude of challenges can illuminate a path toward transformation in our personal and professional lives.
I pull from a variety of different therapeutic modalities to offer relief from usual and unusual life circumstances. My approach is highly tailored and I take pride in understanding the unique perspectives of those that I work with to create engaging and interactive seminars.
